We camped at Copper Range in July for 2 nights and reserved 2 spots for a group of people. The spots are not bad, would've liked more space in between the spots but there's a lot worse. There are no showers, so that kind of sucked. You can go to the river, but the water is chillingly cold. There's only 1 trail (the river trail, about 2 miles long) that is at the campground so you would have to drive out a little ways for more trails/other activities. The rangers there are a little nosy and unpleasant. Walking around like they're about to investigate some crime. Overall the experience was meh, but the forest is beautiful.
