It’s a fantastic park located along the gorge and 30mins from downtown Portland. There’s plenty of parking, couple of great piers and access to water for floating, swimming and kayaking when the water level is good. Great to bring kids and pets. The rock itself is also well suited for rock climbing with bolts and anchors setup along the face

Skull hollow is my most preferred camping site while visiting smith rock. The price has gone up in the last couple of years but they are usually available and the restrooms are good.

There’s no water though. So, you ll find to bring your own supply. Car camping and tent site available. Each site also has a fire pit and grill
