I first came here in early 2021 when I was l staying in Parachute. Probably April of 2021.

The scenery of this place stunned me, it was spectacular, wide open space, overview of the water reservoir, flat bank, mountains surround the campsite.

I came here many times during my 3 months stay in Parachute. I had grill BBQ in numerous occasions here. Enjoying nature and serenity.

In January of 2023, I came again, the entire area, including the country roads to the campground, was covered in snow and ice, the entire campground is buried in snow that’s minimum 1 meter deep.

It’s still empty, which is amazing.

Ice fishing and camping can be done here. I’d imagine that’ll be a fabulous experience.

Love this place, I will definitely come again in the future once I’m in Colorado.
