Nice sites...awkward access. There are two sections of this facility: East and West. You are directed to check in at the West unit for both sections. The check-in booth at the West unit has a narrow access lane (notice the scars on the eves!) After checking in you are directed on a small road (Prairie Du Chien) to the East unit. We would like to see the need to pull into the West unit eliminated. The road into the East unit is hilly and curvy, make sure you have good brakes! The sites are nicely done with adequate room. The East Section was clean and in good repair. We stayed here to visit the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library and Iowa City.

OK for overnight. Not a resort. Mostly long term. Appears the office has not been in use for some time.

Transient sites are great for overnight. E&W only. The dump station is a little awkward to access, but we appreciated the attached dump hose, eliminating the need to break out ours. No on-site management. We had a little difficulty reaching the manager both inbound to find our site and outbound, to pay for our stay, eventually agreeing to leave a check in the office mailbox.
