This is a nice campground, especially if you like watching ships go through the channel. The barges are REALLY LOUD if it's foggy though. You can see all across the inlet to the city, and watch all the boaters and fishermen through the day. There's a little bit of hiking in the dunes adjacent to the campground with a little beach on lake Muskgeon, or the beautiful Lake Michigan beach is a short drive or healthy length bike ride the other way. You do need a state park pass on any vehicle coming here. At time of writing the review, dogs were allowed, so expect some barking. Bathrooms were well kept. I would go back any day.
