(Site#197)Aside from it raining everyday for a week straight, my son/dog and I enjoyed winter camping at Twin Harbors. The facilities were usually clean and well maintained. It wasn't very busy during our trip from 12/23-12/28. If it were busier, I could see the campsites being a little cramped being that they are built practically on top of each other. The sites are well maintained and very clean!

You are in walking distance to the beach, and there are many historical sites and National Parks, within an hour to an hour and a half or less. We were able to hear the relaxing sounds of the ocean waves crashing 24/7.

Plenty of space for the dog to run around at the beach as well. All in all, we had a great time and strongly recommend this campsite to anyone coming to the area.
