Don’t know if this is normally the case, but the whole trail up was covered in mosquitos. No amount of spray or repellent would keep them away and it made the trek up not enjoyable. Highly recommend netting because nothing else seemed to work. The river crossing was a nice place to cool of and restock on water and have a quick lunch because for some reason the mosquitos were not that hungry there. The view at the top was worth it and the camping spots were abundant. There were maybe 10 other groups camping there and we were still able to find a spot before more people showed up.
