We stayed at Loft Mountain Campground for 5 nights in October and had a fantastic time. We reserved our initial campsite on the top of the mountain but it was super windy, and so we switched to one of the first-come-first-served campsites and were much happier. The Appalachian trail ran just behind our site, the restrooms were clean, and a convenient water source nearby.
