I have been enjoying this beautiful campground since 2016. The staff is fantastic, the other campers have always been really nice. Everyone I have brought up with me has loved it. Even if the weather is bad, Houghton Lake is a short drive away. Otherwise you can enjoy fishing, tubing, kayaking and canoeing on the river. This is a great rustic campground that you can tent camp, bring your pop-up or RV. You can purchase wood and ice from the employees. There's hot showers (bring quarters!) and clean bathrooms that are handicapped accessible. This place gives you a true northern experience where you can leave the city behind and just relax. I just love it!
