I will start by saying the campground is well kept, lake/pond is pretty, but the campground is very congested in my opinion. The whole dog friendly thing is not really what you think. We are very big into walking our dog around campgrounds, and that is not possible at this campground. Dog is to stay on your site then driven to the dog path to walk. I would call that barely dog tolerant. Also you can see cars driving by on the highway depending where you are and it’s very loud, not what we look for when camping, but I will take some responsibility for that as I knew it was near the highway, they just happened to put us on a site right near it…Girls at the camp store are nice, but really eager to boss you around if that makes sense. I think there’s plenty of fans of this place though, it’s just not our campground.
