I have been going to lake alpine since I was 4 or 5. I’m 63 now. It was my favorite place in the whole world. I just loved going camping there. Not so much since it by reservation only. It was so much better first come first served. No your lucky if you can even make reservations these days. I live in Oregon now, so when I make a trip to California I’ll just be making a day trip up there.

Fishing is usually awesome.

It is gorgeous there.

Sad that I won’t be camping there anymore. It is worth the drive from where ever I am.

I’m ok with that cus the camp host was rather rude to my friends last time we camp there. Last September 2022
