If you have an opportunity, you need to spend a night or two here. The area, just off the interstate, is absolutely beautiful. Sites were $8 (no electricity, dump, water) and unfortunately, the best sites were the ones reservable ahead of time. We stayed there, in our 35’ 5th wheel, on January 1 & 2, and had no issues getting a spot. The largest sites are on the lower loop, but those are supposed to be for day use and single night use. We stayed in site 33 on the upper loop and barely fit. Neat little campground to campground trail, as well as a trail down to the river.
