Campsite: Pioneer Village Campground

This is a great little campground that was perfect to stay at while we went to the museum on our way to Colorado. The spots were nice and quiet and everything worked like it should. The campground hosts were incredibly nice and welcoming.

Campsite: The Harbor Campground

I don't understand where the bad reviews for this place come from. I was honestly a bit worried about booking this for my family vacation but we had a great time.

Our site was 127 and it was plenty big enough to fit our 32' TT and our truck. The lot was just wooded enough to offer some privacy and feel like actual camping. The site was level and I don't think we saw a single mosquito the entire 4 days we were there.

The activities were fun and considering the site was only $65 a night and they are all included it is one hell of a great deal. The lady in the clubhouse was so incredibly nice and helped us with everything we needed. The mini golf was in good shape. We've seen some dilapidated mini golf at other campgrounds. The pond was fun and the pool was really warm. Honestly the only problem we had was the wildfire smoke and there wasn't anything anyone could do about that. We will definitely be back. I would suggest visiting during the week like we did because it was peaceful.
