Lovely spot on the Gunnison River. Very shallow at this point with a beautiful babbling sound that becomes the only thing you hear at night when the highway traffic slows. The campground has 10 sites. 5 drive up that accommodate trailers or rvs with zero hook up though. The other five are tent only. Right now in October its in winter season mode so only the 5 drive up spots are open. Its free for the winter. Vault toilets. No trash. Pack it in. Pack it out. Gets ridiculously cold at night. Woke up to 15°F late October! Its beautiful though. Didn't check out any trails.
