Campsite: Salida East Campground — Arkansas Headwaters Recreation Area
The AHRA (not to be confused with the American Hot Rod Association) should be your first stop for information regarding the Arkansas River. The staff are courteous and professional. There are brochures galore for hiking, bicycling, and river activities.
