Campsite: Salt Fork State Park

Huge park with a lot of areas to explore. Several of the hiking trails are near camping sites. If you aren't camping, the only parking for these trails is at the camp site shower room building. Trails are marked well. The ones we went on weren't very difficult, but could be interesting if there is a lot of rain or snow melt. The stone house is very interesting to visit from a historical perspective. It isn't open very long and only certain days of the week, but worth checking out if you are there at those times. The nature center wasn't open when we went by it, actually it and the whole area looked abandoned. The hotel is very nice and the room we stayed in was too. Nice balcony overlooking the forest with a bit of a lake view. Very foggy in the morning. We ate lunch and breakfast at the hotel. Food was quite good. Prices weren't cheap, but not the most expensive place either. Several people had dogs with them in the park and the hotel. Gift shop is nice and the prices there are fairly decent.
