I was looking for a place to camp between MDI and the Schoodic Peninsula. This is the place! My 17 year old and I set up two small tents at our site (we picked Thunder Hole because it had a really neat fire ring) and it was perfect.

The campsites and parking are well marked and they even had reflectors on the trees so you could see the path at night. It was super easy to check in and out as well.

A great little spot in the magic of the woods close to Acadia!
