This really is a hidden gem for the most part. There are 4 drive-through camp sites 2 by the lake & 2 on top. Outhouses are some of the cleanest. People, for the most part, respect other campers. but idiots are everywhere. There are 2 complaints I have

1. They really NEED to get out there (DNR) & cut the dead trees & the massive amounts of dead trees branches & widow makers right Above where campers would park their travel trailers, mobile homes, 5th wheels, trucks/cars, or even tents . & I'd hate to hear that someone was hurt or killed & the state / township gets sued, & the camp ground closed. (I seen a few huge branches on the ground where our camper would have been. & and definitely would have gone right through its roof.. oh yes idk but I may drop a star because every campsite we check out is dirty with empty bottles, fast food wrappers, plastic bottle caps, cigarette butts.l, Chop bags, fountain drink cups, ect. If you bring a rake with your camping gear you can rake up the trash I n no time.

. Just remember put that trash with your own trash when you leave because there are no trash cans In the park..There is a manual water well pump for water just before the first campsite $20 per night , put your check & registration slip/envelope in the green pole with a cut out to slide your money & registration in. Do not put your envelope in n the black mailbox that is only for unused envelopes to be used by future campers.
