The photo is site #27 and it's very close to the water. Many other sites have better shade but a longer walk to the water. I like this campground for several reasons. Close to highway 80 but no road noise at all. It's not too hot in the summer and the lake is a great temperature for swimming. You can ride a dirtbike from camp to the nearby ohv trail system. Lastly, it's just remote enough that you can probably get a site here for an impromptu trip.
