This "Classic" cave tour, with 8-10 people, was led by Eric. The cave was tremendously interesting with tight enough passages and minimal lighting to lend a degree mystery, challenge and excitement. Walkways and stairways - constructed largely by the CCC in the 1930s - were easy and safe enough without being theme park "manicured." Eric was a most excellent guide. He was knowledgeable about the history of the cave's discovery, exploration and exploitation and its geology and formation. His presentation was done with humor, intelligence and enthusiasm. Great fun.
