Had a blast. Pool was cool and refreshing. People were great. Not much grass on my side... pretty much all gravel. Other side is nicer. Also cabins and tent area. Will definitely come back for the next air show
My first low rating at a state park. Apparently I missed the memo... apparently you are supposed to bring dogs. Not dog... dogs. Mulriple. You leave them outside 24 7, never mind the 100 degree weather, and let them bark all day and night. I guess they also don't have leash rules there either. Real shame because it could have been a good spot. If you don't mind barking all day and night, give it a try
Had a great time. Water was brisk. Great trail around the lake. Stayed in Wakara which has full hookups but is across the street. They have equipment to rent.
Clean bathrooms, shade and quiet. Lots of hiking nearby. Everyone is super friendly. Note that there is no power, no dump station and no showers. The road to the campground is pretty intense.
I love this RV park. Everyone parks nose to butt so it seems spacious, especially if you are on the river side. No frills... an introvert's paradise. Easy walk to the rail trail and downtown Coalville. Nice bathrooms and showers in an old converted car repair shop. Behind the gas station etc so no freeway noise. Lots of mature trees.
This is a very nice state park campground. Mahogany campground has all hookups, even sewer which is nice but rare in state parks. Note that it is tight in mahogany and many sites are not level across the site. So I would not recommend Mahogany for larger rigs. The lower loop is better for big rigs. There is also an upper loop without services for tent and small boondocking. Lots of trees and shade. Wasatch mountain State Park has lots to do. Hiking, golf, atv, archery
