Campsite: Vigilante Campground — Bannack State Park
Excellent example of an old West gold mining town. Fascinating history. We spent far longer than I anticipated, about three hours. The ranger in the visitor center loans out a booklet describing each building and the history of it and it’s inhabitants. This greatly improved our understanding of the place.
