Gathered here for ucamp18 teardrop rally. Grass sights, electric, vault toilets nestled in Ohio farm country.
Wonderful and quiet location on the western section of Olympic NP minutes away from Rialto Beach. We drove to Cape Flattery, Makah Cultural & Research Center Museum & the Hoh Rainforest. The Mora campground is wooded & felt private. Our site was #43 in Loop C, included a picnic table & fire ring. The bathrooms appeared to be recently remodeled & were very clean. No handsoap, bring your own. In the bathroom there are electrical outlets for charging, a hand dryer, and a changing table for little ones. RV dump station and potable water was available & well maintained. Grocery, gas & hardware store down the road in Forks.
We enjoyed our stay in #86 Loop C, which was a pull-through roomy campsite in the old growth forest that suffered a forest fire a few years ago. This sunny spot was perfect for charging our solar panels, generators allowed during specified hours. The clean bathrooms, water fountain & potable water were close by. There is a dish washing sink on one side of the bathroom building. The dump station was well designed so that the slope of the concrete pad allows for drainage from RV tanks. Potable water for filling tanks is available at the dump station, too. Perfect location to take in the sights & hikes in N. Cascades!
