Campsite: Olive Avenue RV Resort

This RV park was without question, the most difficult one to access. From the I-15 off-ramp at Gopher Canyon we wound around throuh the Narrow canyon roads, which eventually brought us to the city streets of Vista, CA, this is no small feat with 61' of rv and truck! Once here check-in was a breeze, the desk staff were cordial and professional, the concrete space did accomodate us but only barely. They are definitely "big rig" friendly for anyone with 60'+ rigs. My only complaint about the spaces are their downhill slope back to front, which makes it very difficult to level up. The park does provide leveling blocks which can be driven up to assist the longest motorhomes. This resort includes laundry facility, club house with internet access, a fenced pet area and well groomed sites. The price was very reasonable for the area at $65/night for full 30A/50A hookups, most other resorts in the coastal areas are $100+/night with some ranging over $200/night! Shopping food, hardware and fuel is near by, but fueling for "big rig" friendly fuel stations are difficult to find, so fuel accordingly. The beaches are 30 minutes away I-5 and I-15 are near enough and downtown San Diego are about 1 hour +/- away. Our stay here has been pleasant and if we are back this way again we will stop in for a stay. ( 2016 Ford F-350 Super Duty and 2017 44' Keystone Fuzion)
