Campsite: Columbine Landing Recreation Site
Separated pull off from the highway. No real spots but room to park any size rig. Minimal highway noise as you're tucked down a little. Can't see cars on the highway. Bathrooms but no dumpster. Level. Closed in winter. Just steps from the river. Free RV camping. Says no tent camping. Rafting company used as a meet up location. No cell coverage with Verizon
Campsite: Joe Benton Park - Lake Nocona
Spent three nights here in my Class B van. Spots are not level but easy to do in my 21' van. Class A would be difficult. Counted 4 spots but there might have been a few more further on. Picnic tables with tin roofs are old and vandalized. One outhouse should be avoided at all costs. Que a bit of trash even though there are trash cans at each site. Picked up a full bag at my spot furthest east. 3-4 bars Verizon. Only got NBC on the antenna. Was windy every day. Saw very few people and all were day use.
