A large and remote lake in the back country of the Sierra. The drive to get there is winding and long but worth it if you're itching for a great day on the lake. There aren't a ton of people that frequent it so if you can get your boat out there you'll pretty much have an 8 mile long stretch of water to yourself. There are great campsites along the banks for overnight stays which is recommended because the wind picks up at 11am, but if you're able to get out on the water before that you've got nothing but glass all the day around the lake. Also, the view on the drive in is pretty hard to match.
