I love kayaking here because the water is relatively clear and shallow and my doggo can run alongside my kayak if I travel the bank. The only problem with this lake is the Asian carp that have completely taken over. I had to stop coming here because of the dead fish that wash ashore; my dog rolls in them and then needs a tomato juice bath to get the fish smell off. I thought it was a one-off thing, but fool me once.... We've gone through a couple of collars, too. The last time I was here, the algae bloom was also really bad.
