Had to laugh a little about a review. In the Beautiful Stunning Sonoran Desert we have we do have monsoon season and dust storms. Sort of like Illinois gets snow.....wouldn't reccomed ha. This area is a hidden gem and beautiful especially durring Spring time. It is Arizona Bureau of Land Management. A great escape from the high traffic trails in Phoenix. Not recommended for beginners. It is more remote and not ideal for a solo inexperienced hikers.
