My family took advantage of an extended November closing season special for Thanksgiving weekend.

First off, the host husband & wife management team and all their staff were extremely hospitable.

My family has never done Thanksgiving outside of a family member home. Although we have often considered it.

This was better than going out to a restaurant. My pitch to my family was, instead of bringing us all to a surrogate Thanksgiving, let's bring Thanksgiving to us. And Pine Lake RV Resort and cottages did not disappoint.

This time, we took the plunge, and our hosts were gracious enough to make us feel right at home. The complete meal was awesome, and the smoked turkey was fantastic. Accompanied by complimentary beverages.

We're already planning on spending next Thanksgiving here.
