Updated: We went again this year. Still love this campground but please be aware that there are black bears in the area!! We had one come through our site all weekend and were super surprised when we went to throw our trash away and everyone had left their trash on the side of the trash bins instead of putting them INSIDE the empty bin! BE RESPONSIBLE CAMPERS PLEASE and throw your trash away properly to avoid issues with bears.

Great campground. Loop A has the best spots for shade. Easy access to the river. Camp hosts were wonderful and we enjoyed our stay. Will return.

Spot 029. Had reservations but didn't even stay. I can't review the actual campground because it was so infested with mosquitos we couldn't even get out of the truck. Maybe it was the spot? I dont know but my husband and I got out long enough to walk over to the campspot and I had mosquitoes covering my back and i don't normally have an issue with mosquito bothering me (my husband does). I had multiple bites in the 5 minutes we were there. It looked like a beautiful place to stay and wish we could have.. the trees were huge and gorgeous.
