I’m not hiker- so this is exhausting for me. But it’s totally worth it. This park is absolutely beautiful. The hike going up, all the way to the top of the mountain is breathtaking, just looking at the view of the trees, watching birds and pure calmness. I suggest going during fall when it’s a bit cooler because summer… will be a sweaty hike! But… when you find the waterfall..it’s swim time. I’ve seen few people bring their picnic basket and bathing suit- and go for swim, eat and pretty much enjoy listening to the water stream. It can crowded but you’ll be fine if you don’t mind people.

Expect to spend about half a day going the full hike. And be ready for those stairs. They’re brutal.

Dog friendly- but bring a much younger fur baby, because this can be painful for senior dogs! I have one! 😁. We brought her for hike prior to her osteoarthritis and she loves it! Your doggy will love this park!
