The sites here are very large. You could easily have three large vehicles and a large tent and a small tent at the same time. There is some highway noise here but nothing like Rocky Arbor.
Site 98 is easily one of the best sites I've ever had in a state park. The site is very isolated but is reasonably close to the shower building. There is a flat area just big enough for cooking and the rest is sloped just enough to shed rain.
Camping here is great. The sites are large, clean and well kept. Privacy is good. There don't seem to be any raccoons, and mosquitos aren't bad. Park rangers are very polite and helpful. Fire rings are in very good condition and have excellent cooking grates on them.
Fishing is good for small children. The big pond is very weedy, but teeming with bluegills that are too small to keep. It's hard to not catch them.
The hiking trails are nice, but none are very long. They are fairly scenic, this part of the Kettle Moraine is very nice.
