What can I say about the campground! Different strokes for different folks. If you are into state parks, quiet and serene, this is not the place for you, but if you like to shake it up a bit, this is a great place. The sites are very close together and all the sites are back-in. The premium sites are on decorative concrete, beautiful fire rings, and upgraded picnic tables. There are sites that sit along the West Prong Little Pigeon River, which is close to the highway. Our site was gravel, concrete patio, fire ring, and a vinyl coated metal table, and a tree. Good WiFi, cable, the bathrooms are spectacular and clean, something that you would want in your own home. Large laundry room with 10 washing machines and 8 very large dryers, $3.00 to wash, 25 cents for 10 minutes of drying. There’s a pool and splash pad for the kiddos. There was a tremendous amount of activity with all the kids and adults. For entertainment, my husband and I sat on our patio watching people set up and break down. Riveredge is one of the last campgrounds leaving Pigeon Forge, so I believe it is much quieter than further in town. We paid $95 a night and we were in site 81. It’s a great campground and I would definitely stay here again.
