My wife and I stayed on campsite #1. It was our first time camping and our experience was pleasurable. Stayed for 3 nights over a weekend and the Camp host Joe was awesome. Joe is very accommodating and friendly. He enjoys conversations as you get to know him. He made our stay memorable. The bathrooms were very clean and the showers felt good. The river is at walking distance and there are swimming areas a short drive away. The Only negative thing I can say about the location is the noise. The highway is close by so you hear cars passing by, there are helicopters repairing power lines, and a train passes by frequently. I'm a city guy so I didn't mind it too much.
