At this lovely lake with its tall trees and serenity galore, we enjoyed 3 nights of comfy tent camping. We were among the last to camp there in late August, and it was nearly perfect. Very quiet. No one was within our sight. Only downers: Since we tent, we used the pit toilet, which was stinky TSTL. And the campsite was a short schlep from the parking area, which was kind of a drag. (Excuse the pun.) But all in all, it's worth the price of admission for what we got out of it. The consessesions were already closed for the season. Didn't need them. We can't wait to return Aug '24!
