Beautiful views no matter where you look! The drive up is scary with no guard rails but it is worth it when you get the the top.

I made the mistake of going with a short sleeve shirt and shorts in mid September. With no food or water, and a quarter tank of gas. It is freezing at the top.

I recommend dressing warm, packing food and water, and having at least a half a tank of gas!

You have to start heading back down by 6pm, since they close the gates at 7pm. So get there Early so you have time to do sightseeing.
