Campsite: Yogi Bears Jellystone Park at Cooperstown

Camped for 3 nights in a lakefront RV over Memorial Day weekend. Had a very enjoyable experience. The RV was clean and spacious. The queen bed was very comfortable and the bunks were great for the kids. We had spot #89 and were very happy with it. Tall trees lining the lake gave some shade and the fire ring was positioned nicely to sit by the fire and look out over the lake. The RV had an awning to cover the picnic table, which sat on a good sized platform deck. The campsites are close together but we had no issues with that and we brought 2 dogs with us. Lots of dogs throughout the campground, but all well-behaved and leashed. We were able to park immediately across the road from our RV, which was convenient. Didn't see any campers swimming in the lake, but there were a lot of canoes and kayaks out. The campground offers a good amount of activities. The inflatable water slides were a blast, the arcade was in good condition, the store had a great selection of items, the pedal carts were fun (but a bit challenging to operate for young kids), the playground was very nice, the pool was cold but in good shape and in a pretty location near the woods overlooking the lake. The kids were able to catch tadpoles, frogs, crayfish and snapping turtles in the creek leading out to the lake. There was a live band at the pavilion on Saturday night which was very enjoyable to listen to from our site. All areas of the campground were clean. Staff was polite and helpful and the after-hours check-in process was seamless. We blew a fuse in our RV while running the microwave and the staff came immediately to get us back in working order. They also sent staff to our site to help put our fishing poles together. The RV had sufficient dining utensils, cooking utensils, plates, bowls and glasses, but lacked good pots and pans for cooking. There were also full day itineraries of activities that we didn't get to. Those included craft time, candy BINGO, golf cart, bike parades, etc. The campground is in a very remote area that feels like a quiet getaway, even though the campground was pretty full for the holiday weekend. The RV had cable TV and 2G WiFi. Overall, very happy with our experience.
