I really enjoyed the hike. It was hard to find the trail head.To get to the trail head you are driving on dirt roads. Your car will get dirty. Follow the signs for Zip McCall, it has a yellow background. Once you have passed the parking area for Zip McCall stay to the right. You will run into a recreation and sheep sign. I will post the picture of the sign I am talking about. Turn right and go down a little further. The trail head will be on the left-hand side. You will start and immediately cross a creek, there are several logs to walk on or stones. You should be able to follow the pathway after that. It took us a little more than an hour to walk to the lake. You are welcome, you will not get lost like we did. When you are driving back up the hill, stay left. You will thank me later. Your car will not get scratched.
