Jim and his crew are the best. The park is beautifully maintained, the staff is incredibly helpful & kind and you get the ideal camping experience. If you desire cable tv at your campsite and cruising around on golf carts or drinking to excess this is NOT your campground. Salt Rock is a nature paradise east of the river. Truly a hidden gem or perfectly sized & distanced camp sites, hiking trails for days and riverfront fun for the whole family. The best part is that it’s a state park with a pool.
