This was an enjoyable hike, I came here to celebrate my sister and grandmother's birthday. We all didn't know much about it other than we wanted to explore the area more.

The hike was on the easier side, I was always a fan of Planet of the Apes original movies and M.A.S.H. so when we read that there were some areas we could see where they filmed parts of it was a neat addition to the hike.

On the way back from the M.A.S.H. site we did try and go see the damn, on the sign it does not say there is no outlet, so we thought we were taking a short cut but when we got there we realized there was no way to pass through. So if you want to see the damn see it on the way down then go back up, vs on the way back.
