Went to Pulaski County Park today since I have never been to do a little hiking. I did the small 1 mile loop from the easy trail going to the Cain's Bridge and back on the Raven's Trail which is part of the advanced trail. The views are amazing and on the way back to the parking lot on the Raven's Trail came across a small group of 3 to 4 deer about 20 yards from the trail. They didn't run off and just kept eating and walking so you know they are used to seeing humans but with that said they are still wild animals which means they are dangerous. The full hike of the whole loop of the trails is 8.34 miles round trip from starting in the parking lot to ending in the parking lot. The trails are all marked but be careful because there are some false trails that lead off and if not careful you can get off the trail and lost quick. I highly suggest PC Park if your looking for a great place to take a stroll in the woods.
