We staid at this park as Thousand Trails members. It was obvious coming into this park that the more heavily used member camping area was not as well kept as the KOA part as the MC area was not much more than an unkempt dust bowl vs the KOA area sites were well graveled and leveled. None of the sights were full hookup necessitating use of the common restroom. The lodge, restrooms, pool and hot tub were well kept making the stay a bit better, however, the bad part came at the end when we needed to empty our tanks. The dump station has a sign stating you must use their sewer hose. What they didn’t say is that the hose coupling lacked a gasket. I hook it up and open my black tank and fetid urine begins shooting out of the unsealed holes into my wet bay. The fact that this is a common item all their guests must use which is set up to fail felt like a practical joke gone too far. I’m hoping a park manager sees this review and does something to prevent this in the future.
