Pros:

Decent place, location & prices. Very nice and helpful staff, beautiful river view with lots of birds to watch. We saw osprey, cedar waxwings, and many other more common species. They have a dock and small gravel beach to put in your boat/kayak. Free hot showers and nice clean bathroom. Nearby train mountain, spring creek headwaters and crater lake make nice day trips.

Cons:

It’s right off the highway so the road noise was constant. The water at our site (#1) smelled like sulfur so drinking was out and even brushing teeth was unpleasant. The road is only about a half mile long and doesn’t connect to anything but the highway so walking/running/hiking/biking is not possible from there; you’d have to drive somewhere else to do that.

Overall we had a good experience and would stay here again.
