A looooong time ago (1979/80/81) I spent summers here working for YCC (Youth Conservation Corps) before Reaganomics shut down all those helpful programs.

Looking at those photos brings me such great memories of working hard outside, coming back exhausted, eating dinner and then crashing to sleep, only to wake early to start again.

I would love to come back again someday and wander through those bunkhouses.

Good memories were made, money to help with college was saved, as well as good friendships and strong muscles.
