A group of friends and myself decided to backpack through the trails of Jackson-Washington state forest. It was grueling, it was uphill both ways, and it made me feel alive. One of the last wild places. Simply gorgeous. We walked in and a friend said, say goodbye to power lines for a few days. If you enjoy hiking, backpacking, and a challenge this is the place for you. It was intense, I won’t lie, but it makes you remember you are human and the earth is a beautiful place to live.
