Laurel lake state park is awesome ! A smaller lake, it is still the perfect size for motors and kayaks. Lots of locals kayak and fish there. Great crew. The boat launch is super easy and safe.

Homeowners are always friendly and dogs are welcomed all the time. The dog owners are very responsible.

The rangers are thorough and helpful. The beach is clean and many groups from summer programs go there. In recent years, the state has invested monies to improve it with updated facilities.

Well worth the annual pass, day pass, or camping experience. Come see the laurel in June to early July. Living near here, I am still amazed at the beautiful laurel. Autumn colors are worth the trip too. Book ahead it fills up fast!
