Still a work in progress... When we camped here 11 years ago, it was positively scary - old abandoned rigs, permanent residents, overgrown and neglected campsites everywhere. We swore we'd never come back. The new owners have put in a lot of effort to improve it, but their website takes a few liberties with reality. We were looking forward to using the heated pool and hot tub, but they were closed. Another camper said that someone (owner? worker?) closed it b/c they didn't want to clean it. Don't advertise amenities you don't actually offer. Since our RV is exactly ten years old, we had to submit photos of it before we could be "approved" to camp there. I saw many much older units there and also at least one abandoned one. The website also said that that stays were limited to 4 consecutive months, but we saw several units with 100 lbs propane bottles and other junk scattered in their yards. One guy had half a dozen 20 lbs bottles in front of his pull behind. All of these looked like permanent residents. Our "premium waterfront campsite" was backed up to an overgrown creek, and the view out the front was to an overgrown area with a pile of gravel (an abandoned 70's era pull behind is off in the distance). Also there was no Wi-Fi (at least in the section we were in). As far as we're concerned, the only advantage to this place was its proximity to our kid's place in Naperville. Apparently the new owners have had this place for 2 1/2 years, and I'm sure it will eventually be very nice, but it still has a long way to go.
