We stayed two nights and had a great time! We booked online and got site 29. It was very spacious and felt pretty secluded from the other sites. The site is down a little below the parking spot so you're not directly by the road. There were three pit toilets right across from the site but they were very clean and I could only smell it maybe once or twice. The water was a few sites down so pretty close.

The campsite was completely booked when we got there and we could definitely hear people in the other sites and could tell some people at a site far from us were playing loud music around 9:45pm. There is a camp host in the morning but they leave in the afternoon.

There are no showers but we were able to drive to the Idyllwild Campground and get shower tokens and use their showers (a little inconvenient but nice after a long hike).
