Hopewell Lake is great to take your kayak out on. Whether you're fishing or not, this is a beautiful body of water. The water is just crystal clear (at least when I was there). In the shallower areas you can see to the bottom and watch all the little fish and other water creatures swimming around. The lily pads are beautiful and look like there would be lots of bass and other fish to catch there. Definitely recommend getting out there!
