Campgrounds are a matter of perspective and tastes. I didn't mind the gravel lot, lack of trees or shrubs or the closely situated sites. I found washroom #5 to be clean, fresh smelling and attractively decorated. I appreciated Passport America pricing. However, both times I had to interact with staff at the front gate entrance I thought they were abrupt, unfriendly and unorganized. I also thought $10 fee per visitor was quite unreasonable. While I knew that when I made the reservation, this campground was my only real option for a reunion with two couples as it was half way between their homes in PA and VA. They were at our site no more than 4 hours yet it cost me in essence another night's camping fee to have them visit.
